Simon joined the senior team at Newcastle Sixth Form College in 2016 and has undertaken a number of roles during his time here, including Deputy Principal.
About Simon
Since joining Newcastle Sixth Form College in 2016, Simon has overseen the Sixth Form's pastoral and curriculum strategy and implementation, securing significant improvements to student experience and outcomes.
Before joining NCG, Simon worked in secondary schools in Reading, Oxford, and Newcastle upon Tyne. Throughout his career Simon has been committed to ensuring students benefit from aspirational, inclusive teaching and learning which helps them to fulfil their potential.
Outside of his role at NCG, Simon is a Trustee of a regional Multi Academy Trust, governor of a local Primary School, and a Trustee of the Lighthouse Project in Byker.
