Lewisham has extensive experience in supporting Apprenticeships within a wide range of London businesses, and provides a free end-to-end service for employers. We also work with our network of business partners to set up opportunities for work experience placements, guest speakers, industry visits, tours and workshops.
Lewisham College's Hospitality Hub is part of the Mayor of London’s Academies Programme to support Londoners into work. We offer free training to help people progress in a career in hospitality and help close the skills gap to aid London’s economic recovery.
The £44 million programme supports Londoners to get jobs by providing them with flexible work-based training programmes to gain and develop skills for careers in industries that are vital for London’s long-term prosperity.
A partnership between Lewisham College and the UK’s leading food-on-the-go retailer Greggs has been recognised by the Mayor of London at the first ever Adult Learning Awards.

Jamie joined Lewisham College in August 2023, bringing more than 20 years of experience working in Further Education. Over the past 13 years, Jamie has held a number of senior management roles in FE colleges and has led strategic responses to large regeneration projects, adult skills, apprenticeships, partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
