Representatives from London Metropolitan University's Big Idea Challenge recently returned to Southwark College to deliver a workshop to business students in preparation for the annual Big Idea Challenge enterprise competition.
Students participated in the workshop, competed in groups against their peers and built on their entrepreneurship, teamwork and presentation skills.
Scott Peasey, Vice Principal at Southwark College, said: "At Southwark College, we aim to encourage and support our students to take part in local and nationwide competitions. We are delighted to have welcomed London Metropolitan University representatives for a third year to help our business students in preparation for them to enter this year's Big Idea Challenge competition.”
Led by London Metropolitan University's Student Enterprise team, the Big Idea Challenge is a flagship annual enterprise competition. It has supported over 200 business ideas and championed over 20 winners, connecting them with industry mentors and sponsors.
The Schools and Colleges category is designed to encourage entrepreneurship and to help students from across the capital build, develop, and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and sponsors, including NatWest, Lucidica, and many more.
