An NCG colleague has been recognised at a global awards ceremony thanks to her work sharing best practice right across our Group.

Tammy Randle, Group Tutorial Coordinator at Kidderminster College, was announced as runner up in the Most Impactful Teacher in Secondary/FE Education category at the Global EdTech 2023 Awards last night.

The Global EdTech Awards celebrate those educators and EdTech companies who have been making a difference in 2023.

Judging the category was Professor Bob Harrison, who has spent more than 50 years in education, and from a shortlist of ten nominees, Tammy came a very close second.

Professor Harrison said: “I was impressed by Tammy because not only is she doing amazing things for her own students at Kidderminster College, she is also sharing that best practice with others across NCG, creating a community and a tutorial programme.”

Rob Wraith, NCG’s Head of Learning Technology and Digital Learning, added: “Tammy is a truly inspirational teacher who has helped develop and deliver in a tutorial program which has seen learners develop a range of skills and achieve success. She goes out of her way to share, encourage, introduce, and implement software development, usage and engagement that will help her colleagues with their workload, their delivery and their mental health and many other topics. I’m really proud of Tammy, this award is richly deserved.”
